1. Acceptance of these terms
The website waterheaterrepairlosangeles.com (the "Site") is operated by Muhammad Aamir Siddiqui ("we", "us" or "our"). By using the Site, calling a phone number shown on it, or submitting a request through it, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
2. Our referral service
The Site provides information about water heaters and a way to reach independent plumbing contractors who serve the Los Angeles area. When you call or submit a request, we route it to a contractor who accepts work in your area.
Contractors are independent businesses. They are not our employees, agents, partners or joint venturers, and we do not direct or control how they perform their work. We do not guarantee that a contractor will be available at a particular time or at your address, and coverage can change without notice.
We may receive compensation in connection with referrals. That compensation does not change the price the contractor quotes you, and you are never obligated to hire any contractor.
3. Agreements with contractors
Any estimate, contract, payment, permit, warranty or guarantee for work on your property is solely between you and the contractor. We are not a party to that agreement and are not responsible for its terms or its performance.
Before work begins, you are responsible for confirming the contractor's license, insurance, price, scope of work, permit responsibilities and warranty terms. You can verify a California contractor's license with the Contractors State License Board.
4. Information on this Site
Articles, guides, tables and answers on the Site are general educational information about water heaters. They are not professional, engineering, legal or safety advice for your specific situation. Building codes, permit rules, utility programs and product specifications change, and every home is different.
We work to keep information accurate and cite sources where possible, but we do not warrant that any content is complete, current or error-free. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions for your equipment and the advice of a licensed professional who has inspected it.
5. Safety and emergencies
Water heaters involve natural gas, high-voltage electricity, hot water and pressure. Do not attempt repairs you are not qualified to perform. If you smell gas, suspect carbon monoxide, or have a fire, leave immediately and call 911 and your gas utility from outside.
The Site and its phone line are not an emergency service. Response times depend on independent contractors and are not guaranteed.
6. Calls, messages and consent to contact
When you call or submit a request, you agree that the information you provide may be shared with an independent contractor so they can contact you by phone, text or email about the service you asked about. You may tell the contractor to stop contacting you at any time.
Calls may be routed, monitored or recorded for quality and dispute resolution where permitted by law. If a call is recorded, you will hear a notice at the start of the call. Standard carrier rates may apply to calls and texts.
