Choosing a service

Which service fits your problem

If the heater is gas and the pilot or burner will not stay lit, start with gas water heater repair. If it is electric and the water is cold or runs out quickly, electric repair covers elements, thermostats and the high-limit reset. On-demand units with error codes or temperature swings belong under tankless repair.

If water is leaking from the tank itself, the heater is past its working life, or you want a different type of heater, installation is the right page.

Every service also covers the code items a careful contractor checks along the way, including seismic straps, the relief valve line, venting and expansion control, because a repair that leaves an unsafe installation behind is not finished.

Each service page explains how that kind of heater works, the signs of trouble, how the repair is done step by step, the parts that fail most, what you can safely check, and the questions people ask most often.

Not sure which applies? Call and describe it.

Not sure which page fits? Describe what the heater is doing when you call, and the plumber will diagnose it on site before recommending a repair or a replacement.
